TRUE INSPIRING STORY.. WHEN A LIZARD CAN, WHY CAN'T WE?.

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate the house,

someone in Japan breaks open the wall.

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between
the wooden walls.

When tearing down the walls, he found that
there was a lizard stuck there

because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.

He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious,
as when he checked the nail,

it was nailed 5 years ago when the house was first built !!!


What happened?

The lizard has survived in such position for 5 years!

In a dark wall partition for 5 years without moving,
it is impossible and mind-boggling.

Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 5 years!
without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard,
what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating.

Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard,
with food in its mouth.

Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.

For the lizard that was stuck by nail,
another lizard has been feeding it for the past 5 years...

Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 5 long years,
without giving up hope on its partner.


Imagine what a small creature can do
that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can't.

Please never abandon your loved ones

My today’s inspiration! SADA PANI PI LO

I boarded the Ambernath fast and was reading a book, by the time it was Ulhas Nagar and with hustle bustle the bunch of passengers entered the coach. There was a familiar voice ‘’sada pani pi lo’’…

The voice and face made my day…The same person who was distributing water to every one had offered me‘’sada pani ’’ with a special smile , just last summer when I was traveling back to Ambernath..

I had a chance to talk to him…he is a simple man like you and me. Travels up and down everyday and attends his work to support his family. He enjoys his selfless service of offering water to all in the boggy. For him it was a simple (sada) work. However ,On holidays he specially boards different bogies and makes sure that everybody drinks his sada pani.. The glow and peace on his face talks volumes..

For service above self, do one really need anything extra? One can possibly do that during his normal course of work if he has the guts to be a simple ‘’sada addmi’’…One really should not wait for ‘’corporate social responsibility’ programmes for being socially responsible ,nor one needs power, post or prestige and fund for doing something good for the society.

What one needs is just a pure heart full of love .

A SECOND THOUGHT…What stops me following him? Is my heart empty?

Soul searching ! yes what I lack is love….Love keeps a man going …Reminds me of a small farmer of Karnataka who digs a tunnel from the mount single handedly, just as he loved his wife. and cannot see her climbing it and going to the other side everyday to fetch the drinking water !

WATER is a gift of God. Water is a symbol of love .Love of God to human kind. Prem aur pani should be distributed in free. That is Indian culture. Simple man‘s love keeps him going. Keeps him to take little pain for the unknown few. The one who loves God has the courage to to do simple selfless karma continuously. Only common men can do uncommon things !

God loves me and gives me everything without asking for it. I just cannot give sada pani without asking ?!. We may be offering ‘’special pani’’ to get special favors from the few around us.Free sada pani to aam admi is not our courage as basically we are not taught how to reciprocate the selfless love of God. Only Love has the strength to give us simple courage to do things out of the way. If I distribute sada pani, is there any need to distribute ‘’special sweets’’ or ‘’special waters’’?!

Sada pani is a symbol of love .Its available in free. Lets start distributing Prem and pani if not to the whole boggy ,at least 10 fellow travelers in the Mumbai Local.
